Freida Lewis Dunlap, 64, faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, lover of Jesus, sweet singer, inspirational music teacher of children, wonderful hostess and cook, excellent organizer and executive assistant joined Heaven?s invisible choir Feb. 27.
Prov. 18:22 says, ?He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor (grace) from the Lord. Freida was and is Brian?s ?GOOD THING?? God?s gift that kept and keeps giving and giving. Even when her body malfunctioned with MS, Freida kept giving.
All who knew her, even casually, were the grateful recipients of God?s great heart funneled through the heart of a truly remarkable woman. She was God?s choice gift to me and mine. She will be inexpressibly missed and forever treasured from a storehouse of rich experiential memories.
A native of Andalusia, Alabama, daughter of the late Floyd Aaron and Catherine Wright Lewis, she was a former employee for Ryan?s Corporate Office and a member of New Covenant Christian Fellowship.

Nathalie left Taylors, SC to take a job at the White House under President Roosevelt?s Administration.
This is where she met the love of her life, Edward "Eddie" Joseph Mohun who worked for the U.S. Government Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., and he is the father of their two wonderful daughters, Pamela and Debbie.
Edward passed away in November 1992.
Later she met her beloved second husband, John LaTora who is deceased.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Cleveland Hightower and Alta Ethel Crain Hightower, a retired employee of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company and was of the Catholic Faith.

Don Marshall Blews, 72, passed away peacefully on February 6 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Don was born in Paterson, NJ in 1945 but lived most of childhood and young adult years in Montville, NJ. As an adult he lived most of his life in Palm Beach County, FL and Taylors, SC.
He had a true love of learning, earning two Masters Degrees and tutoring in the local schools.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved camping, the beach and all that nature had to offer.
As the effects of PLS and ALS began taking their toll he enjoyed watching webcams of several different zoos around the world. He was especially fond of sea life -? sea turtles, dolphins and manatees. He was also a huge fan of sci-fi movies.
Don can only be described as a true survivor, having survived more than 50 years with type 1 diabetes, almost 30 years with muscular dystrophy, specifically PLS and ALS, and completely recovering from a massive stroke.
He was the best dad two kids could ever have asked for.
Don Blews was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Rutherford Blews and Dorothy Williams Blews of Mt. Airy, NC and a faithful service dog, Joey Blews.
