Filings for November general elections begin Wednesday.
The at-large mayor’s office, three city council seats and Commissioner of Public Works offices are up for the Nov. 3 election.
Filing is July 15-Aug. 17 and will be accepted on weekdays, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at Greer City Hall, 301 E. Poinsett Street, with Municipal Clerk Tammy Duncan.
City council candidates must reside in the district, which they are filing.
Positions up for election, term and filing fees are:
• Mayor Rick Danner, at-large, four years, $125.
• Jay Arrowood, Council District One, four years, $70.
• Kimberly Bookert, Council District Three, four years, $70.
• Wryley Bettis, Council District Five, four years, $70.
• Commissioner of Public Works, six years, $125.
