Seneca earned an at-large bid into the Class 3A playoffs and a return trip to Greer’s Dooley Field in the opening round. The game is Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

The two teams opened the 2012 season there on Aug. 24 with Seneca escaping with a 46-45 victory thanks to an overtime touchdown and game-deciding 2-point conversion.

The Bobcats were awarded the at-large bid despite falling to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in Region I-3A. Daniel defeated Seneca 35-7 in Friday night’s regular-season finale. Seneca and Palmetto were tied for fifth in the region standings. Palmetto did not make the playoffs.

In other playoff games involving Region II-3A teams, Lower Richland will travel to second-seeded Blue Ridge; No. 3 Greenville travels to Chapin and No. 4 Pickens goes to A.C. Flora.
