Irmo defeats Greer, third place on the line versus Greenville today

Irmo beat Greer 66-47 in a boys basketball game in a second round game at the Impact Invitational played at Spartanburg Christian Academy Tuesday.

Andy Bryson was the lone Greer player in double figures with 10 points. All of Bryson’s field goals were from the three-point range.

Greer plays Greenville at 3 p.m. Wednesday for third place.

Monday's game

Greer beat Boiling Springs, 72-60, in the first round boys Impact Invitational at Spartanburg Christian Academy Monday.

Greer had a trio of high performance scorers. Magic Moody scored a game-high 24 points, Sam Gravely added 20 and Andy Bryson added 18 for the Yellow Jackets.

Bryson tossed in three three-pointers and Woodruff added two.

Boiling Springs was led by Z. Baldinelli with 19 points and teammates J.B. Kennedy and Paul Gentry added 13 points each.

Greer plays Irmo Tuesday night at 7.
