“Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.”

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.”

Napoleon Hill

This past weekend was the culmination of a year-long planning period for a special reunion, which I chaired – the Greer High Oldies Reunion. It took lots of meetings and time and many phone calls from the help of six dedicated members of our planning team to make it successful.  Though we may have hit a bump or two in the road, we never gave up, and we envisioned it to be the success that it was.

This way of thinking can also help us in any aspect of our life if we are intentional about what we believe, and if we put in the effort. It reminded me of my constant goal to maintain my weight loss and staying as healthy as I possibly can.

But both of those goals are intentional . . . it was easy to get off track these past few weeks. And I certainly did get off track, but the beauty of the Take Shape for Life plan is you can wake up the next day as I did on Monday and say "I want to see myself next year even healthier and much thinner than I was this year,” (after a 6 pound gain this past 6 months).

In fact,  you have to think like that for today, tomorrow, next week and/or even next month if you want to succeed in anything you set out to do. Unless you believe that you can lose your weight and get to the best health possible, no one else can believe it for you.

So do you want to get on track and stay on track?  Think it, believe it and you will achieve it!

Blessings,

Lisa
