Adrian McGee scored three rushing touchdowns and Dorian Lindsey scored two – one on the ground and another on a pass reception – as Greer had an easy go of it Friday in a 56-6 win over Travelers Rest at Dooley Field.
Greer, ranked No. 6, won its fifth straight game, the most to start the season since an 8-0 start in 1995.
TR proved to be the ideal homecoming opponent, winless in all its games.
A blocked punt by Isaiah Long led to Lindsey scoring the first Greer touchdown in the first quarter. Nick Roberson connected on the first of eight extra points to give the Yellow Jackets a 7-0 lead.
McGee scored on a 27-yard run minutes later and the rout was on with Greer opening a 14-0 first quarter lead.
McGee rushed for 155 yards and Brice Green added 72 yards. Cusano completed 6 of 11 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

• Cusano 67 pass to Zeke Whiteside (Roberson kick). 35-0.

• Brice Green 25 run (Roberson kick)
Travelers Rest dented the scoreboard in the third quarter when Jobriath Young scored on a one-yard run.
Greer plays at Eastside next week.
