Vintage, homemade and re-purposed goods will be for sale at “The Vintage Market at the Park” Saturday at City Park.

Hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Fall like weather is forecast with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s.

Wanda Garcia, former manager at The Shoppes at the Grapevine on Trade Street, is the director of the event. Vendors will be lined along the Promenade.

“After two years at another location we moved our event to the Park this year for better visibility,” Garcia said. “So far the move is paying off.”

Ed Driggers, City Administrator, gave the Market a plug when he told City Council Tuesday night, “There are in excess of 30 vendors. It’s an authentic market with crafts, goods, food and music.”

Garcia announced on The Vintage Market Facebook page that space for vendors are full.

Proceeds benefit Greer Relief & Resource Agency.
