A perfect winter-type day, sunny, cool and breezy, greeted thousands to the Greer Christmas Parade Sunday afternoon.
GreerToday.com had a team of photographers documenting all the festivities throughout the entire weekend with unprecdented comprehensive photo and video coverage. The biggest photo gallery ever posted for the Santa parade, and a video camera, attached to Rudolph, captured the entire parade Sunday.
Several parade participants handed out candy to children sitting curbside along the parade route. Proceeds from the parade benefitted Greer Relief.
The dogs had their day, too. Adoption, rescue and medical organizations participated in the parade.
Santa ended his weekend stay as he rode through the heart of Greer on Sunday. Santa had breakfast with children Saturday at the Cannon Centre and read a story and lit the city’s Christmas tree at City Park Friday night.
