Born September 14, 1924, in Startex, SC, she was the daughter of the late Otis Benjamin and Mary Lou Blackwell Ridings. Rachel was married 55 years to the late Napoleon Dickerson, Army World War II Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient.
Rachel was a homemaker and member of Reidville First Baptist Church for 50 plus years. She served as a Deacon?s wife for many years and also served on the Homecoming, Special Events, Bible School and Lord?s Supper Committees.
She loved serving the Lord, her family and neighbors. Rachel was a good cook and loved sharing meals and birthdays with her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling to visit her brothers and sisters through the years.
