He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved his Clemson Tigers. His hobbies were, hunting, fishing, boating and any outside activities where he could enjoy each beautiful gift from God.
A gentle man with a happy soul, Louie noticed tiny things in nature most of us overlook. He enjoyed sitting on the back porch swing after finishing his chores.
He loved walking on the beach at sunrise, marveling in God's handiwork.
Louie was happiest while digging in his garden, a place so sacred to him, that Mary calls it "God?s Little Acre". His gentle soul was content wherever he was, and we are certain he is happy now. Each of us know that he will be digging in Heaven's Garden before the sun sets on this day.
