A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of Robert L. Blanton and the daughter of the late Robert ?Lester" Padgett and Bernice Godfrey Padgett.
She was a graduate of Robinson's Business College and a former legal secretary for Perrin and Perrin, Attorneys at Law.
She was a member of Duncan First Baptist Church. At Duncan she served as a children?s Sunday school teacher for over 25 years.
She also served as Mission Friend?s Director and Children's Sunday School Director. Children were her passion. In addition, she was a member of the Masie Barefoot Sunday School Class.

Kim was raised in Morganton, NC, son of the late John Vance Kendrick, Jr. and Jessie Roper Kendrick.
Kim graduated from Morganton High School. He attended Western Piedmont Community College.
Kim and Susan his wife have lived in Greenville, SC for over 25 plus years and consider Greenville their home.
Kim enjoyed helping people through his career in Financial Services for over 22 years and the last 17 years have been spent as a Mortgage Broker with County Bank Mortgage.
Although Kim was dedicated to his work, he managed to make time for his family and friends. He enjoyed golf, boating, fishing and the beach.
He was a loyal friend, devoted husband and father. He will be tremendously missed by those whose lives he touched.

Margaret V. Smith Hayes, 80, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 10:55 a.m. in the ICU at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. She was surrounded by family and friends.
She was born at 14 Speed St. in Mills Mill to the late Marvin Lee and Sadie Cornelia Hughes Smith on September 9, 1937. She was the fifth of six children.
Margaret attended Taylors High School and Greenville Tech. She was employed by Belk, Jay?s Flowers and Carolina Blouse. Most of her career was that of a homemaker.
Two of her proudest accomplishments was designing the flowers for Vice President Spiro Agnew?s Inauguration Ball and the ability to lasso a baby pig.
Margaret enjoyed spending time at her favorite beach, Isle of Palms and listening to her favorite singers Charley Pride, Merle Haggard and George Jones.
She also loved sewing, crocheting, walking with her daughter, talk radio, shopping, watermelon, a good Burger King burger and KFC.

Wirron Leonard, 87, passed away on July 2, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Ann Cobb Leonard.
A native of Reidville, he was a son of the late George L. Leonard Sr., and Zobelia Johnson Leonard. He served in the USAF during the Korean conflict, serving 30 months in the Far East. Mr. Leonard graduated from Wofford College in 1958, worked for the FDIC and spent the majority of his life in banking. He was active in the community, serving on the boards of Greer Community Ministries, Greer Relief, Kiwanis, Civitans, Greer Heritage Museum, the Greer Chamber of Commerce and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church as well as the Camak Sunday School Class.
