Only six contestants remain in Greer Idol Season 10 with three weeks remaining until the champion is decided.
The Shag Doctorz will be the featured beach music band at Friday’s Tunes in the Park held at the amphitheater. The band plays two sets, at 7 and 9 p.m. and Idol competition is at 8 p.m.
Activities begin at 6 p.m. Friday with kids activities available and food vendors selling refreshments.
Kayla Kershaw and Jasmine Marisa received the fewest votes after last week’s competition and have been eliminated. Marisa, born with a disability and a bronze medalist with her cheerleading team in the Special Olympics was performing publicly for the first time. Kershaw tried out for The Voice in Nashville.
Idol contestants will be performing beach songs. The remaining singers are:
