Northwood Little League Minors lost its first game in pool play at the Southeastern Regional Saturday.
Florida beat the South Carolina champions 15-12 with a four-run comeback rally in the fifth inning.
Northwood scored four runs in its fifth to take a 12-11 lead. Northwood was held scoreless in its sixth.
Northwood plays its second game in pool play Sunday versus Alabama at 6:15 p.m. and completes the pool with a Monday game versus Georgia at 12:45 p.m.
Teams will be divided in Group Play beginning Tuesday and the championship game is scheduled for Wednesday.
