Taylors will play Rhode Island on Friday
Players arrive late.

Taylors will play Rhode Island, the New England Regional Champions, in a first-round game at the Little League World Series on Friday at 4 p.m.

Rhode Island beat New Hampshire Sunday, 10-4.

Taylors will play at Lamade Stadium, the historic ballpark in Williamsport, Pa.

Taylors, the Southeast Regional Champion, is the first team from South Carolina to reach the World Series since Clinton in 1950. Rhode Island was last in the World Series in 2013.
