Marsha Lominack Lee, of Greer, SC, died January 28, 2021.
Born March 13, 1946, in Newberry, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Erlene Wheeler Lominack and Edward Kirby Lominack, Sr. of Newberry, S.C.
Mrs. Lee graduated from Newberry High School and Columbia College. She received her master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She worked as a teacher for 30 years in Charleston, S.C., Chattanooga, TN., Murfreesboro, TN., Columbia, S.C., and Irmo, S.C. She retired from teaching in 2000.
Mrs. Lee was a longtime member of United Methodist Churches, where she volunteered in various positions. She was also a member of Sunday School Classes, and the United Methodist Women. For the last 10 years she was a member of Memorial UMC in Greer. In addition to her voluntary work at Memorial, for several years Mrs. Lee and her sister had a "Book Bag" ministry for homeless persons.
Mrs. Lee enjoyed activities like yard work, photography, reading, and visiting grandchildren. She was an active member of the PEO, Chapter AE. She and Dennis traveled extensively both before and after retiring, including trips to Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland and many of the U.S. states.

Wanda Cooper Ferguson, 66, was called home on January 28, 2021. Wanda was a fun and loving mother who adored her family, especially her grandchildren and grand dogs.
She was a daughter of the late Troy and Mamie Cooper.
She attended Greer High School and entered the workforce as a secretary for GOS. Later, Wanda became a beauty consultant for Fashion 220 cosmetics.
She was a trailblazer and entrepreneur owning several businesses including Sunsational Tanning and Crystal?s restaurant.
She was an avid learner throughout her life and decided to go back to school at the age of 32. Wanda earned a degree in Radiologic Technology from Greenville Technical College with a focus on Computed Tomography.
She was employed by St. Francis Hospital and Healthsouth for 25 plus years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the beach, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Europe.
She also enjoyed gardening, grilling out, watching movies and spending time with her family.

Born in Greenville County, South Carolina, son of the late Samuel Bennett and Willie Mae Jones, he retired from Carolina Fashions, where he was employed for many years.
Bob was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-father. He and his surviving wife, Emma Jean Dill Jones, shared a loving marriage for 66 years.

Ron Atkins, a.k.a. Santa Claus, 70, of Greer, began worshipping at the feet of Jesus on Thursday, January 21, 2021, after succumbing to COVID-19.
Born in Tryon, North Carolina on June 21, 1950, to the late James Hayden and Nellie McCraw Atkins, he lived most of his life in the Gowensville Community.
Ron graduated from Landrum High School and worked with machine maintenance. He was a retired employee of Mitsubishi, and a devoted member of Gowensville First Baptist Church for more than 50 years, where he enjoyed working with children in Awana as well as talking and praying with those taking part in the monthly Second Saturday community meal food ministry.
He considered members of the Branyon-Godseekers Sunday School Class his second family.
Ron enjoyed classic car events, cheering for the USC Gamecocks, listening to gospel music and relaxing in the Smokey Mountains with his family.
Known for his joyful nature, generosity, gregarious personality and active Christian faith, Ron took pleasure in sharing his love of Jesus with others.
During the Christmas season, he assumed the persona of Santa Claus and delighted in having children pull his real white beard. As Santa Claus in Landrum and at numerous other locations he shared his message of the true meaning of Christmas.

Tommy was a retired mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service for 34 years not to mention an avid fan of Greer High School football, Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves. Tommy loved his cat Cookies.

Gary was born April 3, 1942, to Ray and Beatrice Burg Goetz in Marshfield, WI; who both have preceded him to glory. He was the eldest of six.
He left behind five siblings and their spouses, Diane Krause (Fred) of Centerton, Ark.; Deborah Cattanach (Daniel) of Marshfield, Wisc; Thomas Goetz (Paulette) of Naples, Fla.; James Goetz (Sandy) of Wheaton, Ill.; and John Goetz (Susie) of Weston, Conn.
