Dog obedience and puppy training classes (8-20 weeks old) are scheduled beginning Sept. 1 and continue every Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the City of Greer’s Needmore Recreation Center at 202 Canteen Avenue.
Bring proof of vaccination, registration to the first class, a small bag of treats, 6-foot leash (no retractable leashes) and a flat collar/nylon buckle collar.
Oakleaf Village Assisted Living is holding a big yard sale on Saturday beginning at 6 a.m. The sale was moved ahead two hours since people arrived at 5:15 a.m. last year to attend the sale.
