Faith-based healthcare moving headquarters to downtown

Tribe513 is expanding its faith-based healthcare business and relocating its corporate headquarters to downtown Greer. The business will be at 139 E Poinsett St., at a portion of the former Mutual Home Store.

The site will become home to 70-80 existing team members with additional growth planned over the next five years, according to the Greer Development Corporation (GDC) announcement. Tribe513 announced that it plans to open a Parkside Pediatrics location on the site later this fall, according to the GDC.

Gas prices continue to climb in the Carolinas. South Carolina’s average is $2.54, a 5-cent increase on the week and a 15-cent increase on the month.

Gas Buddy only listed three stations in Greer with a gallon of unleaded regular under $2.49.

D&D Ford awards vehicle in Recycled Ride initiative

Skip Davenport will present the keys to a refurbished car to Carlos Cabrera.

The presentation, April 27 at 10 a.m., is a part of D&D Ford’s partnership with Recycled Rides and Greer Relief and Resources Agency. Recycled Rides is a nation wide community service project where members of the National Auto Body Council repair and donate recycled vehicles to families and service organizations in need, in their communities.
