Born on November 20, 1956 in Paterson, New Jersey, Cynthia was the daughter of John Wallace and Joan Sweetman Jamieson. She was preceded in death by her father.

Cynthia had the God-given gift of music. She graduated cum laude from Furman University with a degree in music education and later a master's degree in education.

She brought her love of music into teaching in Greenville County schools. Cynthia was a member of the Furman Singers, and served as a student conductor. She also sang with the Quodlibet's Singers, performed solos, had leading opera roles, composed songs, led church choirs, and accompanied many musicals.

Cynthia now sings in God?s heavenly choir.

Emilou Woods Richardson

September 13, 2013 - Emilou Woods Rich, age 90, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She and her late husband, Wayne Lawrence Rich, were married for 62 years.

Born in Laurens County, the daughter of Frank and Pearl Tinsley Woods, she had three brothers David, Bill, and Wallace.

Emilou was a loving mother and assisted her husband as a decorator in their custom home construction business. She enjoyed music and played the piano at home and in church.

She was a 1941 graduate of Dacusville High School. In 1967 Wayne and Emilou moved back to the Dacusville Community where they were members of the Nine Forks Baptist Church and where she served in various capacities.

William Larry Gambrell

September 8, 2013 - William Larry "Goose" Gambrell, 69, of Lyman, S.C. was healed and welcomed at the gates to heaven September 8, 2013.

Larry was a 1963 graduate of Greer High School where he played football, basketball and ran track. He held many school records and played in the 1962 Shrine Bowl game. Larry was also inducted into the Greer High School Hall of Fame.

Sports were a family tradition and textile basketball was a passion that Larry shared with his brother, Wayne and his cousins, Steven, Gerald, David and Danny.

Larry never met a stranger, was loved by many and had a special place in his heart for Matthew and McKenzie Pressley and many other young boys and girls who lovingly called him, "Papa Goose".

He enjoyed fishing, taking his car to the car shows, hanging out at Chick-fil-A and NASCAR races.

He was also an active participant Relay for Life of Greer where he assisted his daughter and was also a 12 year cancer survivor.

September 8, 2013 - Margaret Wood Wilson, the widow of Kenneth L. Wilson, and a native of South Carolina, died September 8, 2013.

Mrs. Wilson was the only child of Thomas and Odessa Wood, and was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 17, 1919. She spent most of her life in Atlanta, GA, but had resided in recent years in Cedartown, GA. Mrs. Wilson had been associated with WAGA-TV for many years.
