A second “Decision Day” drop-in is scheduled Thursday, 1-3 p.m. in the lobby at Greer Memorial Hospital.
Greer Memorial chaplain Ralph May will be available to discuss the South Carolina Health Care Power of Attorney document and learn about advance care planning. Individuals can make directives for the medical care they want when others are making those decisions.
Medical crises can make a person too ill to make its own healthcare decisions.
That means times when a person is healthy are the best to make plans for the future. Those are the times it will allow individuals to have the medical care wanted when others are making decisions those decisions.
