This June marks the 20th anniversary of Men’s Health Month, which is anchored by a congressional health education and screening program.
If you are the parent of an older child or teen, you may not think about his or her day-to-day medical needs as often as you did during early childhood. But older kids also are dependent on you, especially when it comes to emotional health and wellness.
The play “A Few Good Men”, filled with drama, suspense and wise cracking humor, is being performed at Centre Stage through June 7.
Greenville Health System is a sponsor for the play and is hosting two events during the play’s run.
Greer Relay for Life takes center stage today at Dooley Field beginning at 6 p.m.
There are 39 teams and 343 participants helping to raise more than $120,000 for the fight against cancer. The running total was $56,289 early Friday.

Organizers were putting on the finishing touches Thursday afternoon, just 24 hours before the 30th annual Pelham Medical Center Family Fest begins in downtown Greer.
