I have a medical condition, and I finally got an appointment with a specialist I’d like to see. The office requires credit card, debit card, or bank account information be kept on file. Having this kind of information out there with them makes me uncomfortable, but I really want to see this doctor. What should I do?
Blue Eye Soft Corporation expanding, bringing 120 new jobs to Greer facility

Blue Eye Soft Corp. is expanding its corporate operations into a new facility in Greer, bringing 120 new jobs over the next two to four years.

Inland Port continues record volume growth

The Greer Inland Port handled 10,648 rail moves in September.
With 30,401 moves handled during the first quarter, the facility's volumes since July are nearly 16 percent higher than the same period last year.
Owens resigns from Chamber, headed to Winston-Salem

Mark Owens, President and CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, is resigning effective Dec 1. He has been named the President and CEO of the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Chamber of Commerce.
Owens, 32, topped the list of more than 230 potential candidates who were considered for the Winston-Salem post. He has been at the Greer chamber since 2014.
Hotel, garage, retail complex approved by City Council

A four-story Hampton Inn and a multi-level parking garage were unanimously approved by City Council Tuesday night.
The Hilton-branded hotel, with a minimum of 100 rooms, and a 300-space garage is a partnership between Sycamore Greer LLC and the City of Greer. The hotel will be built at the site of the former The Tire Exchange on North Main Street.
19 Swift drivers from Greer terminal honored for outstanding Driver Ranking Program

Nineteen drivers are being recognized by Swift Transportation, Co., in Greer for its Driver Ranking Program based on miles driven, commitment to safety, on-time deliverables, low customer service failure rates and total days of employment.
Diamond Drivers are the highest-achieving drivers in the program recognized for going above and beyond in the way of safety, efficiency and excellence in their driving for the company.
Largest industrial building in Velocity Park, nearly 300,000 sq. ft. being built

Construction has begun on a 297,600-square-foot building in Velocity Park that will become the first of three buildings on the property on Victor Hill Road in Greer. The property borders Greenville and Spartanburg counties and is one of the most convenient to the automobile industry serving BMW and other new industrial and manufacturing industries.
Cullum Interests, a Greer-based industrial developer led by Allen Cullum, is partnering with Childress Klein, one of the Southeast’s largest commercial and real estate firms.
