Students from St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville donated their time and talent to paint a mural for hearing patients at Clarity, a partner with the Center for Developmental Services (CDS).

Greer’s port experienced its highest April in the facility's history, with 11,125 rail moves last month. Greer has seen tremendous growth of 27.6 percent this fiscal year, with 95,999 rail moves handled to date.

After nearly eight months of preparation and the installation of 2,994 solar panels, Furman University’s new $1.7 million solar facility has gone online and is supplying electrical power to the campus.
The solar farm, which is located on six acres of land near the main campus entrance on Poinsett Highway, is the largest solar installation on a college campus in South Carolina. The university announced its plans to construct the solar facility in August 2016.
Greer Relief and Greer Community Ministries representatives were each granted checks of $772.50 at the CPW Commissioners meeting.
The $1,545 proceeds were from the Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by CPW.
