A Greer Idol Reunion will be held from 8-9 p.m. Rock and Roll Reunion will perform for one hour at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The Greer Children’s Theatre putting pieces together for “Shrek: The Musical,” learning songs, blocking and choreography.
“We started out heavy on weeknights with music, and blocking on weekends,” said director Kevin Treu. “And just recently, in September, we’ve started working on the choreography.”
The Pitt Hopkins Charity Music Festival is scheduled Saturday, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at the City Park amphitheater as a fundraiser for Eastside High School Spirit Week.

Hollywild Animal Park has not received any formal letter of warning or notification of an “ongoing investigation”, according to park officials in a response to media queries late Wednesday.
A routine inspection from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in July resulted with four violations (non-compliant items – NCI) at the animal park. The report concluded a capuchin was wearing a long chain around her waist causing discomfort and the park failed to meet sanitation and facility standards.
