Jack Boch is beginning to see the fruits, or in this case the vegetables, of his labor sprouting at the Greer Memorial Hospital Community Garden.
Two weeks ago Boch meticulously planted, seed by seed, beans spaced by his measurements. The bamboo-rimmed garden is Boch’s signature construction.
In the past several years, kitchen activity has increased as families bypass the drive-through to cook at home more often.
According to a recent survey from the maker of a popular nonstick coating for cookware, more than two-thirds of home cooks choose nonstick pots and pans because they help families cook convenient and healthy meals that are easy to clean up.
