Mr. Brandon DeBaron Talley, 26, of 1253 Owens Rd., died Wednesday March 14, 2012 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Native of Greenville County, he was a son of Ms. Lisa Talley of Taylors, SC and a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer.

"Dynamite" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was a former team manager for the 2003 Greer High School State Championship Football Team.

A native of Lima, Ohio, son of Ruby Marie Dodge Klingler and the late Richard Malcolm Klingler, he was a former employee of Trimite Powders and played the harmonica in the band "Cross Roads."

March 24, 2012 - Mrs. Carrie Lee Franks Mitchell Patterson, 83, of 152 North St., died Saturday March 24, 2012 in Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, Spartanburg, SC.

Native of Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late James and Lizzie Hill Franks, a former housekeeper and a member of Christian Fellowship Bibleway Church in Greer.

"Granny" as she was affectionately called was first married to the late Fred Mitchell and to this union three children were born.

She was predeceased in death by four children, Willie James Dandy, Billy Mitchell, Minnie Bell Mitchell and Anna Mitchell.
