The Greer Station Association and its vendors request the honor of your presence at their Bridal Show on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Greer City Hall Events Hall.
Guests will attend interactive events – ceremony, cocktails and reception – with vendors showcasing their talents and services. A bride and groom will be featured with guests invited to follow them through the ceremony, cocktails and reception venues or visit the hall in any sequence. All staff will be dressed in formal attire.

Ryan Storrie was the best friend of more people than he ever could have imagined.
"Ryan had a ton of people say 'he's my best friend' because he was everybody's best friend," Tim Kearns said. Kearns and Storrie were best friends and opened Ember, a downtown Greer restaurant, on New Year's Eve.
Elliott Rutland was meticulously drawing a two-story structure she described as her home. She drew the windows and penciled in the doorknob. It was left to the imagination if it was Elliott’s symbolism recognizing her mother, Angela, was within days of becoming a stay-at-home mom.
Angela Rutland, the Commercial Development Director for the Greer Development Corporation (GDC), has decided to become a stay-at-home mom for Elliott, 5, and Emma, 8. A life event convinced Rutland and her husband, Vernon, she was making the right decision for her family.
ACME General Store has opened announced daily bagel and deli specials.
The 4,000 square foot second floor opened last week. An Activity Wall equipped with rock climbing sections for boys and girls and a Ball Arena is open for all ages. Soft Nerf-like balls are shot at targets with individual and team scores.
Red velvet fried cheesecake and red funnel cakes are available as Valentine specials at Confections Carnival Foods at 1209 W. Poinsett Street.
Kevin Fowler, owner, said he wanted to offer his idea of Valentine specialties for his just-opened restaurant.
Elizma Theron, from South Africa, will perform at the Atlanta Bread Company on 4100 Pelham Road Sunday, March 11 at 5 p.m. It’s the first live performance at the Atlanta Bread location.
Theron, 43, is a national celebrity in South America. She grew up in Kuruman in the Northern Cape and initiated a school for performing arts there for young people. She has performed in concerts and television productions and has a platinum (Gee my meer, 2008) and gold (Ek soek jou, 2009).
The Trade Street Café is having a Valentine Tea Party for mothers and daughters and grandmothers and granddaughters.
The tea party and cookie decorating is noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18 at 224 Trade Street.

Ryan Storrie, 29, a partner at the Ember Restaurant at 302 Trade Street in Greer died Tuesday morning after a brief illness.
