Eggs Up Grill, a restaurant specializing in breakfast, will open near the courtyard at Greer Plaza, 805 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., and offer outdoor seating. The menu will also offer lunch offerings.
The long-awaited Blue Ridge Brewing Co. opens in downtown Greer today at 4 p.m.
Bob Hiller, owner of the brewpub 308 Trade Street, said the restaurant received its alcohol permit Friday, trained staff over the weekend and held a soft opening Monday night for loyal customers.
The 300 block of Trade Street is now fully occupied with a restaurant landing between a bar and brewpub.
Still Water Grill and Catering, owned by sisters-in-law Connie and Susie Bakeman, will occupy 304 Trade Street. The building, owned by George Mastorakis, owner of Pete’s in Greer, has been unoccupied since 2007.
Mike and Andrew Hunter of Greer, franchisees of Marco’s Pizza, were recognized at the company’s national convention at San Antonio, Texas, with a national award.
The Hunters received an honor recognizing them as being among the top performers within Marco’s Pizza and good business partners within the Huntersville (N.C.) community.
