Ink Link Marketing, the PR and Promotions Agency of Record for Buffets, Inc, headquartered in Greer, won a silver award for New Agency of the Year presented by Bulldog Reporter LLC.
Ink Link, based out of Pembroke Pines, Fla., took one of the nation’s largest steak-buffet restaurant companies Buffets, Inc., in the midst of its second bankruptcy filing, and introduced new programs and helped generate positive news.
Mike Godfrey had a sigh of relief on the first anniversary of operating a Zaxby’s. “We’ve never experienced a football weekend until the first one, or a Carolina-Clemson game or a Super Bowl,” Godfrey said. “Now we can look back at our files and see how much food we need to order.”
Mike and Tarra Godfrey opened the restaurant at 920 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., within the first month of the high school, college and NFL seasons. That created an instant audience with the Greer and Blue Ridge high school crowds on Friday nights.
Ken Alexander III of Greer has been named as Operating Partner of the FATZ Cafe at the Greer location, 1361 West Wade Hampton Blvd.
Alexander, an employee of FATZ since last year, has made a financial investment in the restaurant franchise and begins the first of his five-year agreement.
