Cook-Out, a fast food restaurant chain, is coming to Greer at 1353 Wade Hampton Blvd. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant will have a double drive-thru and limited indoor and/or outdoor seating.
The restaurant’s menu specializes in grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, North Carolina barbecue, chicken sandwiches, wraps, sides and a myriad of milkshake flavors.
Ryan’s is offering Lent-friendly dishes for its customers every Friday during dinner until Easter. Buffets, Inc., headquartered in Greer, is making the offer available for all its restaurants including HomeTown Buffet, and Old Country Buffet.

Participating Waffle House restaurants in the greater Greer area are offering candlelight diners with white tablecloth service for Valentine’s Day dinner.
It’s the sixth year the restaurant chain has offered the dinner.
Upstate Nutrition / Plate 108 opened the first cooking and entertainment venue in Greer Tuesday.
The grand opening, at 108 Poinsett Street, gave visitors a smorgasbord of tastes with nutrition its focus and with artful presentations. Visitors were still hovering near the 9 p.m. closing.

The third restaurant under the VandenBerghe’s brand will open April 1 in Spartanburg at 148 West Main Street. It will occupy the 3,500-square-foot historic Citizens and Southern National Bank Building on Morgan Square.
The Stomping Grounds Coffee House and Wine Bar is offering house made baked goods produced by Sheila Springfield at its 208 Trade Street location.
Springfield, formerly operator of Lunch & Such on Trade Street, becomes Stomping Grounds’ catering manager.
Pizza Inn is offering a Super Bowl weekend special of buy two pizzas and get the third free. The free pizza must be equal or lesser value to the two pizzas purchased.
Sunday, Americans will consume about 75 million pizzas.
