Greenville Marriott on The Parkway has been refreshed, a project that included all of the hotel’s 203 guestrooms and suites, the guestroom corridors, and public areas such as the lobby and meeting spaces.

City Council Tuesday night passed, 6-1, on first reading, an ordinance allowing a referendum to allow Greer businesses to sell beer and wine without regard to the days and hours. The ordinance states it is to maintain competitiveness with other businesses in other municipalities.

Thomas Creek Grill and RJ Rockers Flight Room will be welcoming passengers Wednesday to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer. Both are new food concepts for the upstate breweries.
The occasion is the launch of several of GSP’s new retail and concessions as part of the Airport District’s $125 million Wingspan expansion that is past midway in the four-year project. It is scheduled for completion the first quarter of 2016.
The new Bojangles’ on Buncombe is hiring for part-time positions for Crew Members and Shift Leaders.
Bojangles’ is branding the store to its location at 900 S. Buncombe Road on the corner of Hammett Bridge Road. It will be the first of its brand to service the explosive Riverside community. The store is tentatively scheduled for a mid-August opening.
